The Original Mexican Eats Cafe
Friday, May 20, 2011
One of the things I love about the Boulevard is the variety of options for Mexican food. On Cinco De Mayo, I headed over to The Original Mexican Eats Café. I enjoyed my first margarita ever, and sampled the Roosevelt platter – named for President Theodore Roosevelt, who ate at the Mexican eatery before even I was around. And that delicious salsa turned me a brighter shade of red.
As it turns out, margaritas agree with me. After a couple of the salty, sweet cocktails, some senoritas and I turned the cantina into a brick house. Brickin’ ain’t always easy, but it sure can be fun at the Original.
This place has been around longer than I have |
